We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure \& Cybersecurity Engineer to support deployment and operation of our automation platform across internal environments and customer sites.

This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, networking, DevOps troubleshooting, and cybersecurity. The engineer will deploy and configure servers, support Linux environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure systems comply with company cybersecurity standards. The role works closely with internal engineering teams, partners, and customer IT organizations to ensure reliable and secure system deployments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Infrastructure Deployment

  • Deploy and configure

Linux-based servers

for automation platforms and backend services.

  • Support

high-availability architectures

, including redundant servers and failover configurations.

  • Install and maintain system components across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Maintain system configuration documentation and deployment records.
  • Troubleshoot server performance, configuration issues, and system availability problems.

DevOps \& Platform Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose issues across

applications, operating systems, and infrastructure layers

.

  • Support platform deployment, upgrades, and configuration updates.
  • Troubleshoot system performance, connectivity, and service availability issues.
  • Work with engineering teams to resolve operational issues in deployed environments.
  • Assist with monitoring, logging, and system observability tools.

Networking \& Connectivity

  • Configure and troubleshoot

network infrastructure

, including switches, wireless access points, and controllers.

  • Support network architecture planning including VLAN configuration, IP addressing, and segmentation.
  • Diagnose network connectivity issues affecting system components such as servers, robots, and automation equipment.
  • Coordinate with customer IT teams to align network configuration requirements.
  • Troubleshoot wireless infrastructure performance in operational environments.

Cybersecurity Implementation

  • Ensure infrastructure deployments comply with company cybersecurity standards.
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices including:
  • network segmentation
  • secure communication protocols
  • system hardening
  • access control policies
  • Coordinate vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
  • Implement and track

patching and security update processes

for deployed infrastructure.

  • Support cybersecurity alignment discussions with customers and partners.

Customer \& Partner Infrastructure Alignment

  • Define infrastructure requirements for deployments, including:
  • server specifications
  • operating system requirements
  • networking architecture
  • high-availability expectations
  • Work with partners and customer IT teams to ensure infrastructure deployments meet company standards.
  • Clarify ownership responsibilities between the company, partner, and customer regarding procurement, maintenance, and operations.
  • Support validation activities during system deployment including

failover testing and infrastructure readiness verification

.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in

Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field

(or equivalent experience).

  • 3–6 years of experience

in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, or cybersecurity roles.

  • Strong experience with

Linux server environments and system administration

.

  • Hands-on experience configuring

network infrastructure (switches, VLANs, wireless APs, controllers)

.

  • Experience troubleshooting

DevOps environments or platform deployments

.

  • Familiarity with

high-availability architectures and failover systems

.

  • Experience implementing

cybersecurity best practices and patch management processes

.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, or cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong experience with Linux server environments and system administration.
  • Hands-on experience configuring network infrastructure (switches, VLANs, wireless APs, controllers).
  • Experience troubleshooting DevOps environments or platform deployments.
  • Familiarity with high-availability architectures and failover systems.
  • Experience implementing cybersecurity best practices and patch management processes.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Travel up to 25% / Primarily Domestic, but with some international travel
