As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lead Sales Representative to help drive sales, support customers, and contribute to the continued success of our business.
Position Summary
The Lead Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact for both retail and wholesale customers. This role combines sales, customer service, quoting, order management, and relationship building. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, solving problems, and helping customers find the right solution for their project.
This position offers an opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company and play a meaningful role in shaping the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist retail and wholesale customers in selecting fencing, decking, railing, and outdoor living products.
- Develop strong product knowledge across Ranch Life's product offerings.
- Prepare and follow up on customer quotes.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer communications via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Educate customers on product features, specifications, installation considerations, and available options.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare shipping and delivery documentation as needed.
- Maintain customer records and opportunities within the company CRM.
- Build relationships with contractors, builders, and wholesale partners.
- Support proactive sales efforts and identify opportunities to grow customer accounts.
- Assist with showroom, sample, and product display organization.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a desire to help people.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable learning technical product information.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency with computers and common business software.
- Previous sales, customer service, construction supply, building materials, fencing, decking, or related industry experience is preferred but not required.
