Data Engineer (Talend ETL)

clients in Putrajaya

in sourcing qualified and competent Data Engineer (Talend ETL) candidates.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data integration pipelines using

Talend

• Extract, transform, cleanse, and load data from multiple systems and databases
• Perform

MySQL database analysis

, data extraction, schema review, and query optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and connectivity issues across data pipelines
• Support integration between databases and BI/reporting platforms such as

Tableau Server

• Investigate and resolve authentication, access, and network-related data connectivity issues
• Collaborate with technical teams to support data integration requirements for web-based applications
• Provide occasional support for

WordPress/PHP systems

, including debugging and data-related integrations

Requirements :

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining

Talend ETL/Data Pipelines

• Strong knowledge of

MySQL

, including database structures, query optimization, and data extraction

• Experience managing large, complex, and multi-source datasets
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes effectively
• Ability to work independently and manage technical issues from investigation to resolution
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of

PHP and WordPress

Nice to Have :

• Experience with

Tableau

or other BI/Reporting tools

• Knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu/Nginx)
• Exposure to SSL, certificates, and server connectivity management
• Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, or custom PHP plugin integrations
