HEAD OF PRODUCT EDUCATION

We are seeking a Head of Product Education to lead how ClearCo enables both customers and internal teams to learn and succeed with our SaaS platform. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for our entire product education ecosystem; including our in-app guidance, LMS-based training programs, and AI-powered help center. You will lead a small, high-impact team and build the systems, content, and processes that drive product adoption, reduce time-to-value, and support scalable growth.

As a company that sells its own learning management system, this role is uniquely positioned to both deliver and showcase the power of our product through best-in-class education experiences.

The base salary for this role is $100,000 to $125,000 annually depending on skills and experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Define and execute a comprehensive product education strategy aligned to company goals (adoption, retention, support deflection, expansion)
  • Build and scale a repeatable content creation process across courses, help center articles, videos, and in-app guidance
  • Determine the most effective content modality for each learning objective (e.g., in-app guidance, video, articles, courses) and deliver blended, multimedia learning experiences embedded within the product journey
  • Partner with Product and GTM teams to support feature launches with effective training and documentation
  • Deliver contextual, in-app learning experiences using tools like Pendo
  • Oversee and continuously improve our help center, ensuring it is structured and optimized for AI-driven support
  • Establish and track key metrics (engagement, adoption, time-to-value, deflection) to measure impact and guide priorities
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation and improve scalability of learning experiences
  • Lead, coach, and prioritize work for a small team of product education and content professionals

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder in a small team environment
  • Previous experience in product education, customer education, enablement, or instructional design within a SaaS environment
  • Proven ability to build and scale content systems and processes, not just individual training programs
  • Strong understanding of when and how to use different learning modalities (in-app guidance, video, documentation, courses) to drive behavior change
  • Experience digital adoption tools like LMS, Pendo, Iorad, Webinar hosting, and Video production
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to measure and improve outcomes
  • Experience with AI tools for content creation and distribution
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder in a small team environment
  • Experience in HR tech or talent management is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Communications,Business, or related experience); advanced degree is a plus but not required
