ABOUT THE COMPANY:
SonarMD

JOB SUMMARY:
SonarMD is looking for a driven and relationship-oriented
Partnerships Manager
to join our growing team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of account management and project management; equally responsible for nurturing and growing our provider partner relationships (50%) and for owning the end-to-end execution of partnership implementations and ongoing programs (50%). This role will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Engagement. The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, strong organizational discipline, and a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes through collaborative partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Partnerships Manager will operate across two core functional areas:
Account Management (50%)
Provider Partner Relationship Ownership:
Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of GI practice (provider) partners, building trusted, long-term relationships that drive retention and satisfaction. Conduct regular partnership reviews with partners to surface wins, address concerns, and align on shared goals and growth opportunities.
Account Growth \& Expansion:
Identify opportunities to deepen program adoption within existing partner accounts, including expanding enrolled patient populations or adding new practice locations. Collaborate with the sales and product teams to develop account-specific strategies that demonstrate measurable ROI and strengthen the case for partnership renewal.
Partner Success \& Retention:
Monitor partner health metrics, including patient enrollment rates, engagement levels, and Sonar Score trends, and proactively intervene when performance gaps emerge. Act as a trusted advisor, translating SonarMD’s clinical and financial outcomes data into meaningful insights that reinforce each partner’s decision to invest in the program.
Cross-Functional Advocacy:
Represent the voice of the partner internally, channeling feedback to product, clinical, and operations teams to continuously improve the program. Coordinate with care coordination staff and clinical leadership to ensure partner-facing commitments are met with consistency and quality.
Project Management (50%)
Implementation Leadership:
Own the full lifecycle of new partner onboarding (from kickoff through go-live), developing detailed project plans, managing timelines, and coordinating all internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate implementation meetings, track action items, manage risks, and ensure all parties are aligned on deliverables and deadlines.
Program Operations \& Execution:
Manage the operational cadence of active partnership programs, including data exchange workflows, patient list processing, enrollment campaigns, and reporting cycles. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, status trackers, and partnership records across all assigned accounts.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the central coordinator between SonarMD’s internal teams (operations, marketing, sales, product, data science) and partner contacts to resolve issues quickly and keep projects on track. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly and consistently to both internal leadership and external partner stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
Identify recurring friction points in partner onboarding and program delivery; develop and champion scalable process improvements that reduce time-to-value for new partners. Contribute to the development of playbooks, templates, and toolkits that improve consistency and efficiency across the partnerships function.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates will bring a balance of relationship-management instincts and structured project execution skills:
Account Management Experience:
3\+ years in an account management, customer success, or partner success role—ideally within healthcare technology, health insurance, or a value-based care environment. Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of complex accounts, navigate multi-stakeholder relationships, and drive measurable outcomes for both the partner and the business. Familiarity with health plan or GI practice operations is a strong plus.
Project Management Skills:
Proven experience managing multi-workstream projects with competing timelines, ideally in a healthcare or SaaS implementation context. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar) and comfort maintaining detailed project plans and status reporting. PMP certification or equivalent structured project management training is a plus, but not required.
Communication \& Collaboration:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to clinical, operational, and executive audiences. Collaborative and low-ego team player who thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven startup environment.
Analytical \& Data Proficiency:
Comfort interpreting enrollment, engagement, and outcome data to inform partner conversations and surface actionable insights. Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Nutshell, HubSpot, Salesforce) and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau) to manage partner pipelines and reporting.
Domain Experience (Highly Valued):
Experience working in a HIPAA-regulated environment with a strong understanding of data privacy obligations. Familiarity with value-based care models, shared savings arrangements, or payer-provider contracting is a meaningful differentiator.
COMPENSATION:
Salary:
Negotiable dependent upon experience
- Benefits:
Competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and PTO.
