Full Stack Engineer

Company Description

Voltra is the analytics layer for car dealerships. We pull data from the DMS and CRM systems dealers already use (VinSolutions, ProMax, DealerTrack, CDK) and surface the numbers that actually matter: close rate, BDC performance, lead source ROI, inventory aging, F\&I attach rate, response time.

Role Description

You’re our first engineering hire outside the founding team. Our lead engineer owns about 90% of the codebase today. Your job is to take that down to 50% within 3 months by owning features end-to-end, reviewing PRs, and breaking apart the biggest modules so we can ship faster.

What You’ll Do (First 90 Days)

• Own end-to-end features in our Next.js \+ Supabase dashboard
• Review and approve PRs to close our review bottleneck
• Refactor the biggest pain files
• Build new dealer-data integrations
• Write tests on the highest-risk surfaces

Qualifications

• 3\+ years with TypeScript, React, Next.js
• 2\+ years with

PostgreSQL

• Experience with multi-tenant architecture
• Comfortable working with messy, real-world data from third-party systems
• Can set up their own dev environment and ship a meaningful PR in week one without hand-holding
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Professional experience in full-stack development roles preferred

Nice to Have

• Tailwind
• Experience with AI-assisted development (we use Claude Code daily)
• Familiarity with the Anthropic API
• Automotive experience
