Data Engineer

Job Summary

• Responsible for leading the data engineering initiatives of the Data Science \& Analytics group to manage data for analytics, visualization and modeling. This role shall ensure data availability, integrity and manageability across the group. This role is also responsible for keeping up to date with any emerging tech related to data management.

How will you contribute?

• Ensures data availability, integrity and manageability across the group. The Department’s work scope and capabilities shall cover the following:
• - Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in Data Science to continuously enhance tools and methodologies used in the Data Science \& Analytics group.
• - Standardize, unify and optimize internal \& external data, leveraging scalable technologies to provide high quality, secure and rapid data solutions to support Data Science \& Analytics initiatives.
• - Manage data across the Data Science group providing a single customer view of internal and external data.

What will make you successful?

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field;
• Hands on experience in Data Engineering preferably in Data Science applications.
• Adequate exposure to Data Science, various data type and source and technology used in Data Science.
