JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will report into the Manager and support a growing supply chain analytics and operations team focused on procurement and accounts payable workflows.
This role is heavily involved in helping the team build structure and standardization, including documenting processes, improving transparency, and supporting a new “way of working” across the organization. A significant portion of the role will focus on documentation (SOPs), process improvement, and enabling better visibility into work intake, prioritization, and execution.
The analyst will work closely with procurement and AP teams to support day-to-day operations, assist with system and process-related issues, and help guide users through Workday workflows and data interpretation. This includes troubleshooting tickets, identifying gaps, and improving user understanding of systems and processes.
The role also partners with IS/technical teams to gather requirements, communicate business needs, and help anticipate potential system or workflow challenges.
This is a highly collaborative, user-facing role requiring patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in an evolving environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable helping shape processes while supporting both operational and project-based work.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years of Workday experience (including configuration support and troubleshooting)
- Experience working within supply chain, procurement, or accounts payable functions
- Strong documentation experience (SOPs, process documentation, workflow standardization)
- Ability to support users, troubleshoot issues, and explain system/data concepts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience gathering requirements and working cross-functionally with IS/technical teams
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange) or EDI transactions
- Exposure to procure-to-pay processes
- Experience with expense management tools (Workday Expense, Concur, etc.)
- Understanding of healthcare supply chain or GPOs (e.g., Vizient)
- Accounting knowledge (invoicing, downstream financial impact)
- Experience with documentation overhaul or large-scale process standardization initiatives
- Background in healthcare (preferred but not required)
