Jr. Python Developer

Jr. Python Developer (Charlotte, NC or Detroit, MI)

Optomi, in partner with a leader in the automotive financial services market, is seeking a junior-level Python Developer. This Jr. Python Developer will be responsible for writing and owning code that runs in production and solving the hard problems that come after the demo works. This Jr. Python Developer will write Python and TypeScript automation scripts that interact with Confluence, Jira, and internal REST APIs via authenticated calls. The right candidate will possess 5\+ years of professional software development in Python, Typescript/JavaScript, and Java/Kotlin. A major focus of the position is building with AI and using Claude Code.
