About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Operations Manager
with hands-on experience in managing end-to-end operations within the
medical technology/healthcare sector
. The role requires a strong background in
shipping, logistics, accounting, customer support, and sales support
, as well as proven experience in companies delivering
hardware (HW) products
.
This is a cross-functional leadership position that ensures smooth day-to-day operations while enabling scalability and efficiency across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership \& Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the teams responsible for
shipping, logistics, accounting support, customer support, and sales support
.
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance standards for each functional area.
- Foster collaboration across teams and serve as the escalation point for operational issues.
- Drive professional development and build a high-performing operations team.
Shipping \& Logistics Oversight
- Supervise the logistics team handling international/domestic shipping, customs, and freight.
- Ensure effective vendor management and continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee policies, procedures, and systems for warehouse and inventory management.
Accounting \& Finance Support Oversight
- Oversee the accounting support team handling purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Ensure financial compliance, accurate reporting, and alignment with company objectives.
- Partner with the finance department to monitor budgets and operational expenditures.
Customer Support Oversight
- Direct the customer support team to deliver high-quality service and meet SLAs.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., response times, resolution rates, customer satisfaction).
- Implement customer feedback loops to improve service and product experience.
Sales Support Oversight
- Manage the sales support team in order processing, documentation, and client coordination.
- Align sales support activities with sales strategy and company goals.
- Ensure seamless communication between sales, operations, and product teams.
Strategic Operations Leadership
- Develop and enforce standardized processes and best practices across departments.
- Report operational performance, risks, and improvements to executive leadership.
- Act as a key partner to the leadership team in scaling the business and supporting growth.
Requirements
- 5\+ years
of proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
- Experience in a
high-tech company
(medical devices/healthcare sector preferred).
- Strong background in
companies delivering hardware products
.
- Solid knowledge of
logistics, supply chain, and shipping procedures
.
- Hands-on experience with
accounting support
and ERP/CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in
medical devices, biotech, or healthcare technology
.
- Familiarity with
FDA and TAX
regulations from a logistics perspective
- Track record of scaling operations in a growing company.
