Job Description

ElectroNeek

is the intelligent automation platform where autonomous AI agents, RPA bots, and people work as one digital workforce. Y Combinator backed (W20), trusted by Xerox, Ricoh, Sage, and 7-Eleven, with 1M\+ workflow runs per month across 350\+ integrations - SOC II, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance following.

We're at the most exciting moment in our history. We've moved automation from scripted bots to truly autonomous AI agents that plan, decide, and collaborate, and it's already live in production.

We're hiring a

DevOps engineer

with an AI-first mindset to run our cloud infrastructure, deployments, internal systems, and operational reliability. The role combines DevOps and System Administration, and is a great fit for engineers who use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex) to automate their own work as instinctively as we automate our customers'.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-agent-powered ops - use Claude, Cursor, Codex, and agentic workflows to automate routine operations, write runbooks that execute themselves, and replace manual toil with autonomous tooling
  • Own cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure - design, provision (Terraform), and keep it reliable, secure, and cost-efficient
  • Design and run CI/CD pipelines that ship code safely across environments
  • Keep production healthy - monitoring, logging, alerting, and fast incident response
  • Configure and maintain VPN, access management, and internal infrastructure
  • Partner with developers to make delivery faster and smoother
  • Maintain configuration standards and infrastructure documentation
  • Spot inefficiencies and ship improvements - infra, automation, cost, security - before anyone asks

Requirements

  • AI-first mindset - non-negotiable. You already use Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar daily, and you've built something real with them: a script, an agent, an internal tool, a workflow that replaced manual ops. Be ready to show it.
  • You think in agents, not tickets. When you hit a repetitive task, your first instinct is to automate it away with an LLM or agent - not to add it to a runbook.
  • Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu) and shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
  • Hands-on AWS and Azure
  • Kubernetes \+ Helm in production; Docker / Docker Swarm
  • Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Nginx
  • Monitoring and logging stack (Zabbix, Grafana, and equivalents)
  • MongoDB and/or ClickHouse
  • VPN configuration and access management
  • Comfortable with Jira and Git workflows

Nice to Have

  • Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered automations into engineering or ops workflows
  • Windows Server administration
  • Ansible or similar config management
  • SaaS / startup experience
  • Infrastructure cost optimization

Work Format

  • Full-time, fully remote
  • Working hours aligned with EST

What We Offer

  • Real scale, not toy scale. Run infrastructure for a platform that processes 1M\+ workflow runs every month for Xerox, Ricoh, Sage, and 7-Eleven - the kind of load you usually only see at Series C\+ companies.
  • A blank canvas for AI ops. You won't be retrofitting AI into a legacy stack - you'll be the one deciding how agentic tooling reshapes our infrastructure from day one. Internal tooling here is a first-class deliverable, not a side project.
  • Velocity you can feel. No layers, no committees. You ship Monday, the impact is visible Tuesday.
  • Ownership of the whole stack. Cloud, CI/CD, observability, security - no artificial boundaries, no waiting on another team to unblock you.
  • Grow with the company. We're at the inflection point of our AI agents era. The DevOps engineer who joins now becomes the infrastructure backbone of what comes next.
