Accountant (AR/AP)

MINISO Canada is currently expanding and we are looking for an

Accountant (AR/AP)

to support our finance operations across multiple store locations and corporate functions.

Accountant (AR/AP) Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle

Accounts Receivable (AR)

and

Accounts Payable (AP)

processes

  • Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments and collections
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with internal departments (operations, merchandizing, stores) to ensure smooth financial processes
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to support business decisions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum

2–3 years of accounting experience

, preferably in AR/AP functions

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficiency in

Excel

and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to work in Canada
