Job Description
Accountant (AR/AP)
MINISO Canada is currently expanding and we are looking for an
Accountant (AR/AP)
to support our finance operations across multiple store locations and corporate functions.
Accountant (AR/AP) Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle
Accounts Receivable (AR)
and
Accounts Payable (AP)
processes
- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments and collections
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with internal departments (operations, merchandizing, stores) to ensure smooth financial processes
- Prepare reports and analyze data to support business decisions
Qualifications:
- Minimum
2–3 years of accounting experience
, preferably in AR/AP functions
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in
Excel
and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eligible to work in Canada
