About The Job
This position supports the accounting team of 5 in handling day-to-day financial accounting, operational tasks, and reporting activities for Louis Vuitton Korea.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on professional who efficiently executes accounting routines, ensures data accuracy, and collaborates smoothly with other team members to support corporate compliance and business operations.
Job responsibilities
1\. Accounting, Financial Operations \& Reporting
- Daily Operations: Execute daily accounting transactions including General Ledger (G/L), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR),
- Closing Support: Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in accordance with Korean GAAP and Group standards.
- Data Processing: Review journal entries and perform regular balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., bank, cash, and sales reconciliations).
- Intercompany: Assist in processing intercompany transactions and reconciling intercompany balances.
- Supporting treasury: make payment lists and bank reconciliation.
- T\&E review
2\. Business Support within the company
- Store Collaboration: Act as a helpful partner for store retail teams, assisting with daily store cash/sales reconciliations and resolving operational queries.
- Cross-functional Support: Provide timely and accurate accounting data to internal stakeholders, including Business Planning and Indirect Purchasing teams, to ensure proper expense alignment.
3\. Audit
- Support the team during external and internal audits by preparing requested documentation, schedules, and vouchers.
- Assist in preparing primary data for VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory filings managed by external tax consultants.
- Maintain and follow internal control standards in daily operations to ensure accounting compliance.
Profile
- 3-4 years of accounting/finance experience, ideally within luxury retail or FMCG industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Native Korean and fluent in English
