Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing team in executing marketing initiatives and maintaining brand consistency across the portfolio. This role works closely with the Marketing Manager, onsite teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure all property marketing channels remain accurate, current, and aligned with Adara Communities standards.

The Marketing Coordinator assists with social media oversight, property website and Internet Listing Service (ILS) management, vendor coordination, marketing collateral production, and onsite team support. This role also helps identify marketing opportunities for priority properties, supports promotional initiatives, and ensures marketing strategies are implemented effectively across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Of The Marketing Coordinator

Social Media \& Brand Compliance

  • Review and approve social media posts submitted by onsite teams to ensure alignment with Adara Communities brand standards and messaging.
  • Ensure posts follow company guidelines for tone, imagery, compliance, and Fair Housing standards.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to onsite teams on social media best practices and content strategies.

Website, Listings \& Digital Presence

  • Audit and maintain property websites to ensure information, photos, amenities, floor plans, and specials are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure property specials and promotional offers are consistently updated across all Internet Listing Services (ILS), including Apartments.com, Zillow, Apartment List, and other listing platforms.
  • Monitor listings to ensure accurate property information, photos, and branding are displayed across digital channels.
  • Coordinate updates and corrections with vendors and property teams as needed.

Marketing Support \& Property Requests

  • Respond to marketing requests from property teams, including assistance with collateral, campaigns, digital listings, and promotional initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Develop and share marketing ideas and creative inspirations to help onsite teams increase engagement, outreach efforts, and leasing performance.

Property Marketing Strategy

  • Assist in developing marketing plans for high-priority properties requiring additional support.
  • Conduct property visits as needed to evaluate marketing opportunities, branding consistency, and overall property presentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance, including signage, curb appeal, digital listings, and promotional initiatives.

Photography \& Visual Asset Coordination

  • Coordinate and schedule professional property photoshoots with vendors.
  • Work with onsite teams to ensure properties are prepared for photography and visual content.
  • Manage marketing photo assets and ensure updated imagery is implemented across websites and marketing platforms.

Vendor \& Agency Coordination

  • Partner with and manage external agency projects such as photography, digital marketing, branding, and other marketing services as needed.
  • Coordinate vendor services and ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet company standards.
  • Maintain vendor invoices and assist with ensuring invoices are submitted and processed for payment.

Marketing Production \& Collateral

  • Coordinate and negotiate printing services and oversee the production of marketing collateral to ensure quality and alignment with brand standards.
  • Assist with the development and distribution of marketing materials across the portfolio.

Training \& Onsite Team Support

  • Provide guidance and training to onsite teams on marketing platforms, brand standards, and marketing tools.
  • Support properties and team members on marketing processes, tools, and expectations.
  • Assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns across the portfolio.

Events \& Promotional Activities

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of property promotional activities and marketing events.
  • Attend property events and marketing initiatives as needed to support onsite teams, corporate initiatives, and brand engagement.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with preparing expense reports and coordinating travel arrangements for the marketing team as needed.
  • Maintain organization of marketing assets, templates, and shared marketing resources.
  • Assist with marketing audits to ensure consistency across platforms and properties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in multifamily housing, real estate, or property management.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools including SOCI, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business Profile, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Looker Studio.
  • Experience with multifamily platforms such as ILS listings (Apartments.com, Zillow, Apartment List), property websites, and marketing software preferred, including LeaseHawk, Funnel, Canva, and WordPress.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com to track marketing initiatives, projects, and team workflows preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
