What we are looking for:

Amsive is looking for a

Sr. Specialist, SEO

who will support Amsive organic search clients, particularly including but not limited to those in the health, financial, and multi-location space. We’re looking for a curious problem solver to support our team in helping develop and execute search-driven content and technical strategies for our clients. This candidate will be responsible for handling a range of activities independently and in collaboration with a larger SEO strategy team.

You should have a passion for the digital world, a propensity to problem-solve, phenomenal attention to detail, and a boundless desire to learn. Our most successful team members are often both "right-brained" (creative) and "left-brained" (analytical). They are also strong team players, as collaboration and education are very important within our SEO department.

What you will be doing:

  • Help define and execute organic search strategy for Amsive's SEO clients, with a focus on content strategy and optimization, and local search
  • Understanding of current SEO best practices, search engine ranking factors, digital content marketing, technical SEO, intermediate marketing principles, and a strong grasp on how to help clients meet business goals
  • Experience performing SEO for local businesses, including best practices related to location optimization, content strategy, and visibility improvement across multi-location websites
  • Conduct comprehensive site audits and proactively identify on-page content and technical SEO opportunities to drive organic search performance
  • Document recommended solutions, working with internal and client marketing and development teams to advise on implementation
  • Perform competitive analyses to identify organic search opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze client sites’ performance using a range of SEO and site analytics tools
  • Interpret and explain data discoveries as they relate to organic search, specific initiatives, and client KPIs
  • Assist in developing and effectively communicating SEO strategies, roadmaps, POVs, and ad hoc deliverables, and results to clients on calls
  • Support the Strategist, SEO in preparing monthly reports and insights
  • Identify opportunities to improve page speed, UI/UX and organic conversion rates
  • Develop comprehensive keyword research documentation and strategic keyword evaluations to drive organic search opportunities
  • Assist with QA of technical SEO implementation
  • Stay up to date on current SEO and AI search industry trends and technologies, and communicate these trends to clients and the Amsive team by occasionally leading internal SEO huddles and wider Monday Morning Company Huddles
  • Consistent weekly time tracking

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of experience contributing to or managing successful SEO programs, preferably in an agency setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management and organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects on quick timelines
  • Displays strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify issues and develop practical solutions, especially for complex technical SEO challenges.
  • Skilled in managing time effectively to handle various tasks while delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining strong client relationships, setting expectations, and ensuring successful strategy execution.
  • Innovative in finding creative solutions to SEO and content challenges while balancing creativity with data-driven insights
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, and APIs for data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS; knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python a plus (curiosity and desire to improve in these areas is also a plus!)
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Botify, Lumar, Ryte, SiteBulb, STAT, SEMRush, Ahrefs and/or Conductor Searchlight
  • Experience with local SEO tools such as BrightLocal, Rio SEO, or similar platforms used for location management and performance tracking
  • Experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc) and have dabbled with AI agents and prompt engineering
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets proficiency
