Job Summary

We are seeking an analytically minded actuarial professional with strong technical capabilities who is eager to leverage modern tools to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and generate business insights. The ideal candidate combines actuarial expertise with data and programming skills and is comfortable incorporating AI-powered tools into their day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial knowledge to pricing, reserving, forecasting, risk analysis, and other quantitative projects.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support business decision-making.
• Build and maintain financial and actuarial models using Excel and Python.
• Automate manual processes and improve reporting through scripting and data tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial knowledge and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or model development.
• Working knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Comfortable using AI-powered development and productivity tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Interest in applying AI to automate workflows, improve code quality, and enhance actuarial analysis.
• Continuous learning mindset with an interest in emerging technologies and process improvement.
