Job Description
About InfrOS
Cloud infrastructure decisions affect how quickly teams can deliver, how reliably their services run, and how effectively they use their cloud spend.
InfrOS
helps engineering teams make those decisions with confidence, from initial design through ongoing change.
InfrOS
is building an AI-powered platform that turns business and technical requirements into validated cloud architectures and production-ready code. It compares options across performance, security, cost, reliability, and scalability, validates outcomes through emulation, and helps teams keep infrastructure aligned as requirements evolve.
The Role
InfrOS is hiring a
Product Marketing Manager
to shape how a category-defining infrastructure product is understood, differentiated, and brought to market. This role will build a compelling and credible product narrative that resonates with engineering leaders and technical buyers.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys diving into complex technology and making it meaningful to customers. You'll explore cloud infrastructure concepts, uncover compelling customer use cases, and translate product capabilities into clear positioning, engaging technical stories, and credible proof of value.
Working closely with company leadership, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships, you'll take ownership of product positioning, messaging, technical use cases, and content. You'll turn these insights into content and programs that equip Sales, engage technical buyers, and build momentum in the market. You'll also contribute to selected demand-generation and field initiatives, using customer insights and market feedback to continuously sharpen the narrative and understand what resonates.
What You Will Own
- Define and refine InfrOS’s ICP (ideal customer profile), priority segments, buyer personas, buying committee, and core use cases. Map the buyer journey from initial awareness through technical evaluation and purchase, and use these insights to guide positioning and messaging.
- Translate InfrOS’s end-to-end story—from understanding an environment and comparing architecture options to emulation-proven outcomes, reviewable deployment paths, and ongoing optimization—into clear positioning and messaging for technical and business buyers. Track customer, market, and competitive developments to spot timely stories and campaign opportunities, and maintain a consistent narrative across channels.
- Create practical sales-enablement materials—including decks, solution briefs, technical use cases, case studies, and customer-facing content—that help Sales communicate InfrOS’s value to technical and business buyers.
- Develop and execute product-led messaging and content for focused demand-generation initiatives, working with the team on campaigns, developer-community activities, and other relevant channels.
- Shape and deliver the product story for selected conferences and events, from preparing content and materials to representing InfrOS at relevant events. Collaborate with the team on execution and assess the impact of each program.
- Own the company’s website content and updates, including SEO and GEO, as well as the relevant GTM tools connected to it. Keep the site current with product stories, customer use cases, and campaigns.
- Build a repeatable content engine by turning customer conversations and input from Product, Engineering, and Sales into useful, timely stories and technical content. Coordinate thought leadership, PR, and speaking opportunities with company leadership and the external agency.
- Support selected partner initiatives with consistent product messaging, technical use cases, and reusable partner-facing content.
- Work with Product and Engineering on clear product education, including core documentation, tutorials, and developer-community resources. Keep the content useful to its audience while technical teams validate product accuracy.
- Measure the effectiveness of product messaging, content, and assigned marketing programs using relevant engagement, customer feedback, and program-performance indicators.
What We Are Looking For
- 5\+ years of substantial, hands-on experience in product marketing or technical marketing at a B2B technology company, with a strong track record of owning positioning, messaging, technical content, and product launches or marketing campaigns.
- Strong technical fluency and demonstrated ability to understand complex software or infrastructure products, engage independently with Product and Engineering, and communicate credibly with technical buyers. A formal engineering degree is not required.
- Experience translating product architecture, technical capabilities, customer problems, and competitive differences into clear use cases, value propositions, and differentiated product narratives.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, with the judgment to adapt the message to different buyers, use cases, and stages of a sales conversation.
- Experience working independently in a lean or early-stage environment, setting priorities, collaborating across teams, and moving quickly from ideas to execution.
- A results-oriented approach, using content engagement, program performance, and customer feedback to understand what works and improve it.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud infrastructure, DevTools, platform engineering, FinOps, AI infrastructure, or a similarly technical B2B market.
- Experience building developer-facing content or relationships with developer communities.
- Experience with field marketing, conferences, partner enablement, marketplaces, or demand-generation programs.
- Experience in a founder-led or early-stage company where the product narrative and GTM process are still being built.
Why Join InfrOS
The product is live and strategic enterprise conversations are underway. As
InfrOS
builds its first repeatable GTM motion, you’ll have a real opportunity to shape how technical buyers understand the product, see its differentiation, and recognize its value.
You’ll work closely with company leadership and across Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Engineering. Your work will help turn technical validation into compelling customer stories, stronger sales conversations, and commercial opportunities.
Location and Working Model
This is a U.S.-based, fully remote role, with a preference for candidates located in the
San Francisco Bay Area,
where InfrOS plans to establish its U.S. office. The role will involve occasional travel for team meetings, customer engagements, and industry events.
