Position Description:

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Shanghai, UIH has the

Central Research Institution

(CRI)

and subsidiaries across China, US, and other parts of the world. CRI has research collaboration scientist positions open in

Southeast Asia (SEA)

. The position will broadly focus on PET-CT Research Collaboration to drive clinical research partnerships, product validation, and scientific adoption of advanced PET-CT and molecular imaging solutions across the SEA region. The position can work with colleagues with experienced education and working background, coordinate company’s resources, collaborate with hospitals, and research institutions to design clinical studies and develop innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage PET-CT research collaborations with key hospitals, cancer centres, and academic institutions.
  • Support clinical validation and evaluation of UIH PET-CT systems, radiotracers, quantitative workflows, and AI applications.
  • Act as a scientific interface between customers and global R\&D teams, providing clinical feedback and regional requirements.
  • Support multi-centre research studies, investigator-initiated trials, and post-installation research initiatives.
  • Drive scientific outputs including publications, abstracts, posters, white papers, and conference presentations.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales scientific support for research-focused PET-CT opportunities.
  • Conduct scientific workshops, user trainings, and investigator meetings.
  • Represent UIH at regional and international scientific conferences.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD in Nuclear Medicine, Medical Physics, Radiology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong hands-on or research experience in PET-CT and molecular imaging.
  • Preference will be given to candidate having experience in LAFOV PETCT hands-on/research
  • Experience in industry, clinical research, or industry–academia collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of oncology imaging, PET Reconstruction, PET quantification (SUV), artificial intelligence (AI) and hybrid imaging workflows.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel \~30% of time in SEA region.
