This CAD designer will have the opportunity to Design HVAC components, create drawings and build assemblies that are manufacturable to Lennox factory standards.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Create HVAC 3D designs that involve sheetmetal, tubing, and plastic components.
- Prepare detailed drawings of the 3D design and create assembly drawings as per Lennox standards.
- Follow instructions and procedures for modeling and drafting by Lennox.
- Perform non-complex detailing, redrawing, lettering and tracing of drawings on components, assemblies and engineering change orders.
- Ensure that drawings incorporate all design features and maintain the product style.
- Contribute design modifications to improve the product quality and function.
- Work experience in windchill and Creo is preferred.
#LI-JM1 #LI-onsite *Required:** Associate's degree in mechanical design and drafting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with 3D Modeling and layout of electromechanical systems and components.
- Applied experience in creating Engineering drawings and layouts per ASME 14\.1; and applying dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14\.5\.
- Proficient in using and navigating through Product Lifecycle Management tools such as Windchill.
- Strong communication skills.
*Preferred:** Certified HVAC designer under ISO 17024
- Experience with Creo Parametric Design Essential 7\.0 or later.
- Experience in using SAP Production System (P00)
- Experience in creating and documenting Engineering Change Requests and Notices for production using Windchill.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD\&T) per ASME Y14\.5M
