The Tires Group Sector is responsible for tire sales worldwide. Within the Business Area Tires RE EMEA and with MENA locations in Saudi Arabia, we serve, in close cooperation with our partner network, our customers by selling multi-brand passenger light vehicle tires, truck tires and specialty tires in the region.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely month‑end and year‑end closings. The role covers accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, taxation, reconciliations, and coordination with auditors and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

  • Check and post customer payments in SAP.
  • Clear customer payments against invoices.
  • Prepare

daily and weekly collection reports

for Management.

Accounts Payable

  • Post vendor invoices in SAP.
  • Process vendor payments through the bank and post transactions in SAP.
  • Reconcile vendor balances and coordinate with concerned departments to resolve discrepancies.

Banking \& Payments

  • Reconcile bank statements with company books on a regular basis.
  • Process payments related to

HR, Operations, and Government entities

.

  • Liaise with banks regarding issues, changes, and ongoing support.

General Accounting

  • Maintain monthly accruals and prepayment schedules.
  • Post all accounting activities, including depreciation, adjustments, and expense allocations.
  • Reconcile

GR/IR accounts

with Operations.

  • Perform stock reconciliation and activation of customs duty where applicable.

Month‑End \& Year‑End Closing

  • Execute the month‑end closing process, including closing and opening accounting periods.
  • Prepare and upload

Balance Sheet forecasts

.

Taxation \& Compliance

  • Prepare and file

monthly VAT returns

.

  • Handle

annual Zakat \& Tax declarations

.

  • Prepare and submit

Withholding Tax

declarations.

Budgeting \& Reporting

  • Prepare Balance Sheet information for budgeting purposes.
  • Support Management with financial data and analysis as required.

Audit \& External Coordination

  • Provide documentation and schedules required by external auditors.
  • Collaborate with actuaries for actuarial valuation reports.
  • Prepare documentation and support

Transfer Pricing analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum

4–6 years of accounting experience

, preferably in a senior role.

  • Strong working knowledge of

SAP

.

  • Solid understanding of VAT, Zakat, Withholding Tax, and local regulations.
  • Strong reconciliation, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
