About the Role

Our US-based client is seeking an

exceptional AI Engineer / AI Developer

to join a high-impact, fast-moving engineering team building advanced

AI and machine learning solutions

used across the United States.

This role is offered as a

6 months contract-to-hire

engagement, with the intention to convert into a long-term position based on performance and mutual fit.

The position can be

fully remote or hybrid

, depending on the setup.

Senior or Lead AI Engineer

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and maintain

AI-driven software systems and models

  • Develop and optimize

machine learning, NLP, and LLM-based pipelines

  • Collaborate closely with engineering leadership on requirements, architecture, and system design
  • Apply strong engineering practices:

unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, version control

  • Run experiments, analyze results, and continuously improve model performance
  • Build and integrate

APIs, microservices, and cloud-based AI services

  • Contribute ideas, research, and prototypes that advance practical AI adoption

Required Skills

  • Strong

Python

development experience (ML, NLP, data pipelines)

  • Solid understanding of

SQL

  • Ability to read and make small adjustments in

C# / .NET

codebases

  • Hands-on experience with

LLMs and modern AI tools

(e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor)

  • Experience with

API integrations

and microservices concepts

  • Ability to work independently in a

small, agile, high-ownership team

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5\+ years

of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or AI development

  • Experience with

cloud platforms

(Azure and/or AWS)

  • Familiarity with

TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

  • Experience with

ETL processes and end-to-end ML pipelines

  • Exposure to big data technologies such as

Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Solr
