Our client is seeking a Creative Director (Design) to join their growing in-house creative team and help shape the future of two brands. This is a player-coach leadership role that blends strategic thinking, hands-on creative execution, and team management.

Working closely with the Creative Director of Copy and senior marketing leaders, you'll lead integrated, digital-first campaigns while mentoring a team of approximately seven designers. The ideal candidate comes from an agency background, excels at connecting creative decisions to business goals, and has a strong portfolio featuring brand storytelling, digital campaigns, and creative leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative strategy and execution across digital marketing channels, including web, social, paid media, video, and motion content.
  • Develop compelling campaigns that align business objectives, audience insights, and brand goals.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and senior stakeholders to create impactful customer experiences.
  • Present and defend creative concepts to leadership.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers, fostering creativity, accountability, and growth.
  • Champion innovation by leveraging emerging technologies, creative trends, and AI-powered workflows.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in creative, design, or art direction roles.
  • 2\+ years of creative team leadership experience.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong digital marketing and integrated campaign expertise.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership (65%) with hands-on creative work (35%).
  • Experience collaborating with senior business and marketing stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools and evolving digital trends.
