Job Description
We’re seeking a highly capable University Recruiter with a technical focus to drive high-volume intern and early career hiring across our engineering and software teams. This is not a standard recruiting role—we need someone who can manage intensity, navigate ambiguity, and support non-traditional recruitment cycles. You’ll be a core partner to business leaders and a trusted advocate for top emerging technical talent.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Technical Recruitment: Own intern and early career hiring for engineering, software, and technical roles—sourcing through offer. Lead high-volume recruitment during peak seasons with speed, accuracy, and business alignment.
- Sourcing \& Engagement: Identify high-potential talent through campus partnerships, sourcing platforms, online technical communities, and direct outreach. Represent the company at university events, career fairs, tech talks, and conferences.
- Candidate Evaluation \& Experience: Conduct technical screens and behavioral interviews; ensure a smooth and informative experience for every candidate. Coordinate with hiring managers and interview panels to align on evaluation criteria.
- Intern Conversion Strategy: Support interns throughout the program lifecycle—from onboarding through performance reviews and conversion conversations. Drive conversion strategy aligned to full-time hiring needs.
- Flex for Non-Traditional Hours: Be available for candidate engagement and events across multiple time zones, including evenings or weekends during peak cycles.
- Program \& Event Support: Partner with the Early Talent and Events teams to lead recruitment events, info sessions, and intern programming—virtual and on-site.
- Reporting \& Compliance: Maintain accurate candidate records and pipelines using iCIMS. Ensure timely reporting, data integrity, and compliance with internal processes.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in university or technical recruiting, ideally within engineering, software, or R\&D environments.
- Recruiting Co-op Programs, highly preferred
- Proven success managing high-volume pipelines and supporting demanding technical hiring teams.
- Familiarity with engineering disciplines, software development life cycles, and technical assessment tools. Comfort discussing roles like software engineer, systems engineer, embedded engineer, or data scientist.
- Proficiency in iCIMS or similar ATS required. Experience with Handshake, LinkedIn Recruiter, or other sourcing platforms preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills; able to represent the brand with confidence and authenticity.
- Comfort with fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments, balancing multiple requisitions and timelines simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% and work flex hours during peak recruitment windows.
