We are looking for a
Social Media Associate
who is creative, strategic, trend‑obsessed, and comfortable both behind and in front of the camera. This role is truly 360°, combining content creation, influencer management, paid media, events, PR, and community engagement. Responsibilities
Content Creation \& Trend Leadership
- Concept, film, edit, and publish short‑form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and photo content.
- Appear confidently on camera for tutorials, product education, unboxings, GRWMs, and live‑selling.
- Stay ahead of trends, formats, audios, and cultural moments to keep SophieSkin relevant and competitive.
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and CTAs aligned with brand voice.
- Manage and organize the brand’s content library.
Social Media Management \& Community Engagement
- Own the monthly content calendar, scheduling, and publishing across all platforms.
- Manage and grow Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and WhatsApp channels.
- Respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions to build loyalty and positive sentiment.
- Support customer inquiries and escalate when needed.
- Monitor competitors and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Influencer \& PR Program
- Develop influencer strategies and identify creators aligned with the brand.
- Manage outreach, negotiations, onboarding, and deliverables.
- Coordinate PR boxes, product seeding, shipments, and follow‑ups.
- Track performance, usage rights, deadlines, invoices, and payments.
- Build long‑term relationships with creators and partners.
Email Marketing \& CRM
- Create, design, and send email blasts for launches, promotions, and brand updates.
- Maintain audience segmentation and optimize email performance through testing and insights.
Paid Social \& Budget Management
- Manage paid social budgets and support campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams or agencies to align paid and organic strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, audiences, and messaging, and analyze performance metrics.
Pop‑Up Events, Activations \& Congresses
- Lead the design, creative development, logistics, vendor coordination, and execution of pop‑up events.
- Coordinate vendors, materials, inventory, and visual merchandising.
- Capture on‑site content (BTS, interviews, lives).
- Support congresses, trade shows, and industry events.
- Travel up to 25% for events and content capture.
Analytics \& Reporting
- Track KPIs across organic, paid, influencer, and event channels.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize strategy.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marketing, Sales, E‑commerce, and Logistics teams to support launches, PDP updates, and retail needs.
- Coordinate approvals, timelines, and project management
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (beauty, skincare, or CPG preferred).
- Proven ability to create short‑form video content that drives engagement and/or sales.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and hosting live‑selling or live‑stream content.
- Hands‑on experience managing social media accounts, community engagement, and channel growth.
- Experience with TikTok Shop, including content creation, product linking, live‑selling, and managing product approvals.
- Familiarity with SampleTok campaigns, product seeding workflows, and creator coordination.
- Experience creating, designing, and sending email blasts using email marketing platforms.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for basic visual creation and asset adaptation.
- Familiarity with social commerce platforms and affiliate marketing tools.
- Experience supporting influencer or creator campaigns, including outreach, coordination, and follow‑up.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms and basic CRM tools.
- Ability to analyze social performance metrics and optimize content based on insights.
- Basic photography, videography, and content production skills.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent voice and visual identity.
- Exposure to e‑commerce environments and PDP content creation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative, proactive, trend‑aware, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, social‑first environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for events, activations, and congress participation.
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and Meta platforms.
- Experience with social media management tools (Later, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva); motion graphics experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Familiarity with TikTok Live, Amazon Live, and other social commerce tools.
- Understanding of platform analytics (TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite).
- Basic knowledge of affiliate platforms and tracking tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Monday.com experience is a plus.
