Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in

US Payments, Core Banking, Financial Messaging, and Banking Platform Modernization

.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of

Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, SWIFT, ISO 20022, Treasury Operations, and Payment Processing Platforms

and have experience working on large-scale modernization initiatives involving legacy and strategic banking platforms.

This role will partner closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Architects, and Engineering teams to define platform vision, future-state capabilities, target operating models, and business requirements supporting the bank's transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Owners and business leaders to define platform strategy, roadmap, and future-state capabilities.
• Drive requirements gathering, business process analysis, process mapping, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze end-to-end payment lifecycles across Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 ecosystems.
• Support modernization, platform migration, cloud transformation, and legacy application rationalization initiatives.
• Understand existing application architecture, infrastructure dependencies, integrations, interfaces, middleware, and operational workflows.
• Evaluate current-state vs future-state solutions and recommend process and technology improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and architecture teams to ensure business requirements align with strategic objectives.
• Support UAT planning, release readiness, business sign-off, and change management activities.
• Leverage data analysis and reporting to identify business insights, trends, operational risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Utilize modern productivity tools, including AI-assisted analysis and documentation tools, to improve delivery efficiency.

Required Skills:

• 8-15 years of Business Analysis experience within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong expertise in:

• Proven experience supporting:
• Payments Transformation Programs
• Legacy Modernization Initiatives
• Platform Migration Projects
• Regulatory Change Programs
• Strong understanding of:
• Legacy application architectures
• Infrastructure and environment landscape
• APIs, middleware, messaging, and integration patterns
• End-to-end transaction processing flows
• Hands-on experience with:
• SQL
• Advanced Excel
• Power BI
• Jira
• Confluence
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with payment platforms such as:
• MTS
• Volante
• FIS
• Finastra
• Payment Hub Solutions
• Familiarity with Azure, cloud-native architectures, and API-led modernization.
• Exposure to AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar productivity platforms.
• Experience within global banking, transaction banking, or payments organizations.
