Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced People Operations Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end HR operations across a multi-location organization. This role will be responsible for employee lifecycle management, payroll administration, HR systems optimization, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in HR operations, payroll processing, HRIS administration, and team leadership within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, organizational changes, and employee separations while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and standardize HR programs, workflows, policies, and documentation related to onboarding, performance management, internal mobility, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Manage and optimize HR systems including Workday, ATS platforms, ADP, and onboarding tools, ensuring system accuracy, reporting capabilities, and user support.
  • Establish and maintain HR data governance practices to ensure data integrity, compliance, and consistency across multiple regions and business units.
  • Lead payroll operations, including salary calculations, payroll processing, tax compliance, timesheet reviews, bonus administration, deductions, and payroll issue resolution.
  • Drive HR process automation, systems integration, reporting enhancements, and operational transformation initiatives to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor HR operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting to support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR Operations team through training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to support organizational goals and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources Operations experience within corporate, multi-location, retail, or global organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing employee lifecycle programs and end-to-end payroll operations, including leadership of HR Operations teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with Workday, including system administration, configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Experience with HR data governance, workforce analytics, reporting, and HR systems integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in English is required, as the successful candidate will collaborate with employees, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions and business functions.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience translating HR data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting retail, global, or multi-site organizations is preferred.
