About the Opportunity

Our client is an internal strategy and innovation team focused on identifying, evaluating, and developing new growth opportunities across the business. Working at the intersection of strategy, emerging technologies, and product innovation, the team partners with senior business leaders to assess new markets, validate customer needs, and develop business cases for new products, services, and AI-enabled solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, evaluating new opportunities, and shaping strategic recommendations that influence investment decisions. You'll work on initiatives from the earliest stages—assessing market potential, identifying growth opportunities, and helping determine which ideas are worth pursuing.

What You'll D

  • Conduct market, customer, competitive, and industry research to identify emerging trends and new growth opportunities
  • Evaluate new markets, technologies, business models, and product concepts to determine commercial potential
  • Develop business cases, financial models, opportunity assessments, and strategic recommendations to support investment and prioritization decisions
  • Structure ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks and actionable insights
  • Assess opportunities across AI, Generative AI, SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, and other emerging technology areas
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner closely with strategy, product, technology, and business leaders as opportunities progress from evaluation into development
  • Support commercialization strategy, go-to-market planning, pricing, and market entry initiatives as new offerings mature

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 4–8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, growth strategy, strategic innovation, or new business strategy
  • Experience evaluating market opportunities, conducting customer and competitive research, and developing strategic recommendations
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business case development skill
  • Demonstrated ability to translate research and analysis into executive-level recommendations
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Preferred Experience

  • Background with a top-tier consulting firm or corporate strategy organization
  • Experience evaluating AI, Generative AI, SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, or other emerging technology markets
  • Exposure to new product strategy, innovation initiatives, or internal business incubation
  • Familiarity with commercialization strategy, pricing, or go-to-market planning
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis too
