Job Description
The Contract and Vendor Management team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business is primarily responsible for managing QSS contracts, providing advice on contractual matters and managing vendor relationships.
As the Senior Contract and Vendor Management Officer, you will:
- Negotiate, develop, manage, and administer vendor contracts and agreements to ensure business needs are met.
- Maintain contract integrity through preparation of contract documentation, briefing notes, other written correspondence, and related record retention.
- Facilitate operational vendor management meetings.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance including resolving disputes and performance issues. Analyse a wide variety of supplier and performance related information using multiple tools and systems.
- Provide procurement services within an ICT environment including supply market analysis, preparation of offer documentation, evaluation of offers in conjunction with an evaluation team, preparation of evaluation reports and other general procurement activities.
- Providing information and advice to the Principal Contract and Vendor Management Officer on vendor delivery issues, performance, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain effective, open, and regular channels of communication with internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage the vendor relationship and performance and to understand the latest product developments.
- Maintain professional knowledge and share information with others.
