SUMMARY:
As Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in our growing company. Your primary focus is to lead and develop a high-performing team of project management staff that delivers every project in a safe, high quality and profitable manner. As leader of the project management team, your team’s purpose is to coordinate scope, materials, information, and resources so the field crews can execute at their best. This management position bridges strategic oversight with day-to-day execution, collaborating closely with Fabrication, Purchasing, Estimating, Accounting, Safety/QC, and Field Operations teams.
DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership and Development

Coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Project Engineers through regular performance assessments, individualized growth plans, and targeted skill-building; recruit and onboard high-caliber talent; and cultivate strong team spirit, cross-departmental engagement, and a culture of accountability aligned with company core values to drive exceptional project outcomes.

Project Execution \& Coordination
– Oversee full project lifecycle coordination, including accurate/timely submittals, shop drawings, RFI responses, procurement of materials/equipment, change order management, and closeout documentation to enable optimal field execution.

Technical Oversight
– Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and value engineering proposals in collaboration with architects, engineers, and fabrication teams; ensure compliance with project specifications, structural requirements, and applicable codes (e.g., curtain wall, storefront, window systems).

Quality \& Safety Oversight
– Conduct regular jobsite visits to verify compliance with safety protocols, glazing installation best practices, and quality standards (including water testing, mock-ups, and special inspections for DSA/OSHPD/HCAI projects).

Financial \& Performance Management
– Track project profitability; participate in monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reviews; provide actionable feedback to Estimating and Field Ops to improve future budgeting and customer experience
· Planning \& Risk Management – Maintain and drive the company’s 12-month manpower / labor forecast; contribute to long-term project pipeline planning and process innovations (e.g. risk mitigation)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Leadership \& Supervisory Skills
· Proven leadership and supervisory experience managing a team of Project Managers and/or Project Engineers, including coaching/mentoring, performance management, delegation, conflict resolution, motivation, and fostering accountability to build high-performing teams.
Glazing \& Technical Knowledge
· In-depth knowledge of commercial glazing systems (e.g., curtain wall, storefront, window wall, structural silicone glazing, point-supported systems) and related installation practices.
Project Management Processes
· Hands-on experience managing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, material procurement, and project closeout processes in commercial construction environments.
Software \& Tools Proficiency
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe PDF/Acrobat, and Bluebeam Revu for document management, markups, takeoffs, and collaboration.
· Familiarity with construction project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) for RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
· Experience with glazing-specific estimating or design tools (e.g., PartnerPak or similar).
Core Professional Skills
· Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply architectural blueprints, specifications, and glazing details.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
· Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking to handle multiple concurrent projects.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to identify risks, resolve issues, and support profitable, high-quality project delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 7–10 years of commercial glazing or facade project management experience.
· Proven track record managing 10\+ active projects simultaneously, with values ranging from $100k to $3M
· Hands-on experience with DSA, Engineered/ Deferred, and OSHPD / HCAI projects strongly preferred

emonstrated success leading and developing project teams
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience in commercial glazing (including field installation background) will be strongly considered in lieu of degree.
