Business Analyst

Location: Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore.

We are seeking an experienced eFront Developer to support the design, customization, integration, and enhancement of the eFront alternative investment management platform, a leading solution for private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit investment operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with Delivery, Product, Operations, and Investment teams to optimize the end‑to‑end investment lifecycle, enhance data accuracy, streamline reporting, and ensure the platform is tightly integrated within the firm’s broader technology ecosystem.

This role requires strong technical acumen, deep familiarity with private markets workflows, and hands-on experience configuring or extending eFront modules such as eFront Invest, eFront Insight (GP/LP), eFront Office, and Data Services.

Key Responsibilities:

. Platform Development \& Customization

Configure and customize eFront modules related to deal management, fund administration, portfolio monitoring, and investor reporting. Develop enhancements supporting GP/LP workflows, CRM functions, deal flow, fundraisingpipelines, and analytics dashboards.

Build and maintain automation for data ingestion, transformation, and validation across private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes.

2\. Data Architecture \& Integration

Design and implement data models aligned with investment data standards and firm-specific reporting needs.

Integrate eFront with external systems such as accounting platforms, market data providers (Morningstar, Preqin), and CRM tools.

Support quarterly data collection by optimizing automated workflows via eFront Insight Data Services.

3\. Reporting \& Analytics

Build customized investor reporting templates, dashboards, and fund performance analytics. Ensure compatibility with internal analytics models and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., IPEV valuations).

4\. Collaboration \& Delivery

Work closely with Delivery Managers, Product Owners, GPs, LPs, and Operations teams to gather business requirements.

Participate in workshops, solution design, and prototyping.

Support UAT, data migration, testing, and rollout activities across front-, middle- and back-office functions.

5\. Production Support \& Continuous Improvement

Troubleshoot issues across integrations, workflows, and data pipelines.

Apply best practices to maintain system stability, performance, and data integrity.

Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency enhancements.

Required Skills \& Experience

Technical Skills

Prior handson experience with eFront Invest, eFront Insight, eFront Office, or similar privatemarkets platforms.

Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL development.

Experience integrating systems with APIs, flat files, or vendor data feeds (Morningstar, Preqin, Advent, etc.).

Understanding of investment data structures: capital calls, distributions, valuations, IRR, MOIC, performance attribution.

Domain Knowledge

Practical understanding of private markets: private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate, infrastructure.

Knowledge of GP/LP reporting, fund structures (e.g., feeders, evergreen funds), and regulatory standards.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in agile, distributed delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Aladdin \+ eFront Whole Portfolio View integration is a strong advantage
• Background in investment operations, digital transformation projects, or consulting roles for private markets.
• Familiarity with ESG and sustainability data for portfolio monitoring.
