ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications and pipelines. You will work across Generative AI, Speech AI, NLP, and Computer Vision domains, collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to build intelligent systems that create real-world impact. This role reports to the Product Technical Lead / Lead Engineer (AI).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop AI software applications and end-to-end AI pipelines across Generative AI, Speech AI, NLP, and Computer Vision domains.
• Build and implement NLP modules including text understanding, speech analysis, and knowledge representation.
• Design and develop computer vision systems covering object detection, tracking, recognition, and crowd analytics.
• Optimize and deploy AI pipelines and deep learning models for both scalable cloud servers and edge/embedded platforms.
• Collaborate effectively within AI engineering teams, engaging across a broad spectrum from software development to core AI algorithm research and implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BE) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable institution.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering.

REQUIRED SKILLS \& EXPERTISE

AI \& Machine Learning

• Strong foundational understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning principles, architectures, and workflows.
• Proven experience in designing and developing AI-based software and production-grade AI pipelines.

Large Language Models (LLMs) \& Generative AI

• Proficiency with LLMs, LLM hosting frameworks, and developer APIs including OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Mistral, Meta LLaMA, and LangChain.

NLP or Computer Vision or Speech AI (Specialisation in at Least One)

• Strong background in NLP with familiarity with spaCy and/or NLTK.
• Strong background in Computer Vision with familiarity with OpenCV and/or GStreamer.
• Solid understanding of speech processing and a hands-on experience in Speech AI models and Libraries like, Whisper, Wav2wec, Librosa, Pydub, TorchAudio etc

Databases

• Hands-on experience with relational, document, and vector databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Qdrant.

Infrastructure

• Familiarity with containerized deployments using Docker.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with ML optimization libraries such as deep stream, TensorRT or vLLM.
• Hands-on experience in backend and API development.
