Business Development Manager

About Us:

The Law Offices of Destiny Aigbe PLLC is a boutique securities law firm. The firm assists small private companies with going public transactions. Going public transactions include initial public offerings (IPOs), direct listings, and SPAC transactions that result in the listing of a company on the NASDAQ or NYSE.

Job Overview:

The Company is looking for a business development manager. This is a contract job and an opportunity to be involved in the U.S. Capital Markets.

You Will:

• Assist the firm with identifying target companies
• Contact company contacts via email and phone calls
• Schedule phone meetings on behalf of the firm’s principal
• Review and sign NDAs on behalf of the firm
• Collect financial statements, investor decks, and other information from target companies
• Issue term sheets
• Track deal pipeline on a spreadsheet or other CRM

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Must be entrepreneurial. Must be willing to do cold calls, emails, utilize database, to originate business.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or work experience in Corporate Development, Business Development, Sales, Business, Accounting, and/or Finance.
• Minimum 1\+ years progressive finance experience with strong M\&A, Corporate Development, Management Consulting, Investment Banking and/or Capital Markets background.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Fast and eager learner. Demonstrated ability to gain knowledge of the business and become an integral business partner.

The work is fully remote. Just requires a telephone, internet connection, and a computer.
