Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the technical design, development, and integration efforts required to transition our revenue operations from a fragmented, manual legacy environment (including Access-based systems) into a modern, highly scalable Salesforce ecosystem.
This transformation focuses heavily on standardizing end-to-end revenue operations, consolidating siloed data into a governed model, and establishing automated, API-driven workflows with core enterprise systems like SAP. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in native Salesforce development (Apex, LWC), complex Salesforce CPQ configurations, and enterprise integration patterns.
Core Objectives \& Responsibilities
1\. Core Platform Modernization
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable solutions within Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and contract management platforms to successfully retire legacy BIS/Access-based systems.
- Build a unified, enterprise-grade technology ecosystem that seamlessly supports end-to-end revenue operations, from lead to cash.
2\. Data Architecture Transformation
- Consolidate disparate, siloed data streams across sales, pricing, contracts, and billing into a governed, standardized enterprise data model within Salesforce.
- Implement robust validation, data cleansing, and auditing mechanisms to dramatically improve data quality, compliance, and reporting consistency.
3\. Business Process Re-engineering
- Translate newly redesigned workflows for the contract lifecycle, automated pricing engines, billing schedules, and audit logs into highly performant custom code and advanced automation.
- Eliminate manual interventions, redundant approval loops, and email-driven coordination through intelligent workflow orchestration.
4\. Enterprise Integration (SAP Ecosystem)
- Design and build robust, API-driven integrations connecting Salesforce/CPQ with SAP and other critical downstream financial systems.
- Ensure real-time, automated data exchange, reliable transaction handling, and comprehensive error-logging protocols.
5\. Reporting \& Operational Governance
- Structure Salesforce data architecture to support standardized enterprise analytics, replacing fragmented legacy reporting with real-time visibility across contract, billing, and audit functions.
- Enforce strict development standards, environment governance, and comprehensive technical documentation to eliminate dependencies on tribal knowledge and undocumented systems.
Required Experience \& Technical Skills
- Salesforce Expertise: 6\+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a proven track record in complex, large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Programmatic Development: Expert-level proficiency in writing clean, optimized, and bulkified Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Queueable), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced asynchronous processing.
- CPQ \& Revenue Operations: 3\+ years of technical experience with Salesforce CPQ (or advanced revenue engine customization), including deep knowledge of Product/Pricing Rules, Quote Calculators Plugins (QCP), Advanced Approvals, and Contract Generation.
- Integration Engineering: Strong experience designing and implementing REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware-driven integrations specifically connecting Salesforce to SAP or similar ERPs.
- Legacy Migration: Direct experience mapping, transforming, and migrating data out of legacy, fragmented databases (e.g., MS Access, SQL Server, custom BIS) into structured Salesforce objects.
- DevOps \& Governance: Strong familiarity with modern Salesforce DevOps practices, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, scratch org strategies, and sandbox management.
