Job Description

Chief Technology Officer — DocGlasses

Bay Area \| Founding-level equity \| Works with CEO (Multi exit entrepreneur)

The $10 billion opportunity

We believe DocGlasses becomes a $10Bn company in 5 years, on a path to $2\.5Bn in revenue. This is your chance to be the technical face of a global healthcare story worth billions, and to own the decisions that get us there.

What we do

AI Health \+ Smart glasses: Sold as a solution for clinicians.

$52 million contract pipeline within 3 months of launch

The glasses see and hear the clinical encounter, run AI on-device, and deliver documentation and decision support hands-free. Docglasses turn every nurse and paramedic, into a doctor.

Multimodal handsfree scribing :

Every AI scribe on the market listens. We see. Published clinical research: 97% vs. 28% accuracy on high-stakes documentation, 35x fewer omission errors than audio-only.

AI Guidance :

4\+ billion people lack access to a doctor. Our product is already in government hospitals serving some of the poorest patients in the world — 1,000\+ clinical sessions, 7\.6 minutes saved per consultation, 91% data accuracy. The tech you build won't sit in a demo. It will decide whether a paramedic catches the thing that saves a life, whether a home health nurse can do what only a physician could before.

Few engineering jobs on earth have this ratio of code written to lives touched.

This is a running engine, not a blank page

  • Government trial live across 5 hospital; state contract for \~10,000 doctors in motion
  • Signed enterprise agreement in the Middle East
  • Silicon partnership with a top-tier mobile/XR chipset leader
  • Patents pending, starting team in place, revenue expected within a quarter

You take over a working machine and make it 100x.

What you'll own

  • On-device SLMs

— fine-tuning, quantization, edge inference on consumer hardware

  • Vision \+ multimodal

— Turning visual inputs into valuable notes.

  • OCR

— Extracting handwritten prescriptions, labels, monitor readings, from running video stream

  • Languages

— Multilingual and the code-switched way clinicians actually talk

  • Team

— hire and lead engineering across US and India

Who we want

  • A 100x engineer. We care what you've shipped, not how long you've been shipping.
  • Hands-on with SLM fine-tuning, quantization, and edge deployment - models that run on real devices, not just notebooks
  • Strong computer vision or multimodal background
  • Experience at a frontier AI lab (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Meta AI) or shipping models at comparable scale is highly valued
  • Healthcare experience welcome, not required - AI depth matters more
  • An existing network with investors is a strong plus
  • You move fast, hold strong opinions, and want your work to matter

Compensation

$250k annual \+ founding-level equity. Flexible.
