Assistant Professor of Accounting

For our client, we are seeking a Assistant Professor of Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Education space.

This faculty role is focused on advancing high-quality scholarship while delivering effective undergraduate and graduate instruction in accounting. The position emphasizes sustained research productivity, classroom excellence, and meaningful contributions to the academic mission through service and collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong emerging research agenda and a clear commitment to student success in a university environment.

Location: Columbus, OH - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,000 – $280,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate outstanding achievement in research
• Sustain impactful peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
• Create and deliver effective course materials
• Foster an engaging classroom environment
• Commit to student success and effective service to the academic community
• Collaborate with colleagues in research, teaching, and service

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related field expected by January 1, 2025, or shortly thereafter
• Demonstrated potential for high-quality research and teaching in accounting
• Emerging research pipeline with impactful publications
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and independently
• Successful university-level teaching experience is preferred
