Job Description

Our client, a financial services firm, seeks an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and help manage day-to-day digital marketing initiatives across multiple office locations in New York and New England. This role supports both corporate marketing efforts and a portfolio of individual professionals and business leaders who are building their brands and growing their market presence.

The position will play a key role in developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies that enhance visibility, engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness. The Digital Marketing Lead will also support marketing campaigns, events, and digital initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage social media content calendars for multiple business brands, professionals, and executive leaders (20\+ accounts).
  • Create, update, and maintain website content for corporate offices and individual professional brands (20\+ websites/accounts).
  • Design and develop digital marketing materials, including event promotions, social media graphics, email campaigns, and other branded content.
  • Lead digital marketing training sessions, workshops, and webinars for professionals, support staff, and internal teams.
  • Help develop and expand marketing programs designed to strengthen online branding, digital visibility, and professional reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, including:
  • Website analytics
  • Social media metrics
  • Lead generation and attribution
  • SEO performance
  • Email marketing effectiveness
  • Use data and insights to recommend improvements and future marketing strategies.
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to create compelling brand stories and differentiated market positioning.
  • Stay current on emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

Position Qualifications

3-6 years’ experience working in professional digital marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree in social media, marketing and communications, or digital media preferred
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and take independent action to make sound decisions with minimal oversight
  • Highly organized, creative thinker
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels; maintain confidentiality
  • Expert in social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and X)
  • Proficient in creative design programs such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher)
  • Familiarity with social media tools Hearsay and Sprinklr a plus
  • Previous experience in financial services is strongly preferred
  • Occasional night/weekend projects as determined by event schedule

This position is based on-site, five days per week, in the Midtown New York office, with occasional travel to Providence, RI, Wellesley, MA, and/or Hingham, MA, as needed.

Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000
