Job Description
LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed distribution organization is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to drive strategic purchasing, vendor management, and supply chain optimization across a multi-site network. This role will play a key part in supporting acquisitions, improving systems and processes, and ensuring efficient inventory and material flow across 25\+ warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic vendor management including supplier negotiations, performance management, and relationship development
- Manage large-scale purchasing initiatives and cost-saving opportunities (including high-value buys)
- Drive demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply allocation across multiple locations
- Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel to support inventory optimization and decision-making
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and sales to solve supply chain challenges
- Support ERP data management, product setup, and system configuration improvements
- Assist in integrating newly acquired businesses by standardizing processes and consolidating data
- Develop and track KPIs and dashboards to improve supply chain visibility and performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, inventory, and fulfillment operations
Qualifications:
- 5\+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory planning
- Strong vendor management and negotiation experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Experience working within ERP systems and managing large datasets
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred:
- Experience in distribution, fulfillment, or multi-site warehouse environments
- Exposure to acquisitions, systems integration, or process standardization initiatives
- Familiarity with procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools
