Job Summary:
The Director of Digital Marketing will own Art.com’s digital acquisition, retention, and brand amplification strategy. This leader will oversee all paid and organic marketing channels, integrating performance marketing with strategic execution to position Art.com as the preferred destination for premium wall decor. The role requires a blend of operations excellence, analytical rigor, and eCommerce expertise to drive measurable results.
General Responsibilities:
Strategy \& Leadership
- Develop and execute the omnichannel digital marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals.
- Lead the annual marketing budget, forecasting, and channel allocation, ensuring optimal ROI and efficiency.
- Partner closely with the Chief Digital Officer, Chief Creative Officer, and Merchandising team to align with brand messaging.
Performance Marketing
- Oversee all paid media channels: paid search, display ads, social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) affiliate partnerships, remarketing, SEO.
- Executive content strategies to drive sustainable growth.
- Build and optimize retention programs (email, SMS, loyalty, and lifecycle marketing) that maximize repeat purchases.
Analytics \& Insights
- Own marketing analytics and KPI dashboards, ensuring full funnel visibility from awareness to conversion.
- Implement a test-and-learn culture — from A/B testing to audience segmentation and channel experimentation.
Skills and Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of digital media, attribution modeling, and modern marketing technology.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy and creative action.
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills across creative, merchandising, and technology teams.
- Experience building premium brand equity in digital channels while maintaining strong performance KPIs.
Education/Experience:
- 7-10 years of digital marketing experience.
- 3\+ years of leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency in social media platforms.
- Proven track record of scaling customer acquisition and improving ROI across multiple paid and owned channels.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- This role requires utilizing a computer mouse and keyboard for hours at a time.
- This role requires movement through our office and warehouse to view and handle artwork.
- This role requires the ability to distinguish color hues between varying pieces of artwork.
