Art / Digital Illustrator

Role \& Responsibilities

Conceptualize artwork and scene based on a solid understanding of content and project

needs (mostly for Science - Physics, Chemistry, Biology \& Math content).

• Good Understanding of composition, human anatomy, landscape.
• Demonstrate strong ownership in actively using AI across design tools and creative

workflows to make illustration work faster, more efficient, and more expressive.

• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts teams to iterate and deliver projects on time.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Basic video editing skills ( Adobe Premiere or similar)
• Minimum bachelor's degree from a reputed design / animation institute.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in art illustration, or sketching using Adobe

Illustrator or Photoshop.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong in Art / Figure Illustration (AI \+ Educational Content Focus)
• Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 2\+ years of experience as an Art / Digital Illustrator, with a strong focus on creating concept-driven or instructional visuals; experience in educational or content-driven environments is Highly preferred
• Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands-on experience using AI tools within the creative workflow for generating, refining, or accelerating illustration work; should demonstrate practical application of AI in real projects rather than just theoretical knowledge.
• Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience creating content-driven illustrations that translate complex concepts into clear, accurate visuals, preferably across science or math-related topics or similar structured domains.
• Mandatory (Skill 1): Strong illustration fundamentals including composition, human anatomy, perspective, proportions, and the ability to create visually clear and instructionally effective artwork.
• Mandatory (Skill 2): Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; ability to create clean vector illustrations and diagrams.
• Mandatory (Portfolio): Must showcase 2\+ illustration projects with a clear focus on structured or instructional visuals; portfolio must include AI-assisted/Ai-Created work demonstrating workflow (AI generation to final refinement), accuracy, consistency, and problem-solving approach in visual communication. Applications without visible AI work in the portfolio should not be considered.
• Preferred (Domain Experience): Prior experience in EdTech, educational content creation, or scientific illustration; familiarity with creating visuals for learning experiences and working in AI-first or content-heavy environments.
