The Opportunity
Are you looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a passionate professional to coordinate and manage our Insurer Examination (IE) program and its processes, along with the vendor relationship and performance management of Premiere clinic and IE vendors nationwide. You will also work with a clinical team that provides medical knowledge and expertise to support the claims department through education, coaching, and other knowledge transfer strategies.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the relationship with our treatment and Insurer Examination (IE) vendors. Lead vendor performance meetings, act on customer and adjuster feedback, manage performance issues and maintain strong relationships with our vendors.
- Support our customers’ recovery by ensuring evidence-based care is provided by community providers.
- Leverage HCAI BISS, Claims Center, and other systems and technology to enhance efficiency, productivity, indemnity management, and service delivery.
- Provide input to the healthcare SLT, anti-fraud and other stakeholders in support of future strategic direction and change from a healthcare perspective.
- Build a learning and development culture and practices to support employee retention and technical competence.
What You’ll Bring
- University Degree. Clinical, business or legal background an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and strong understanding of relevant legislation and industry regulations. Experience with a disability insurer or workplace injury insurance an asset.
- A collaborative approach. Stakeholder management skills. Openness to the ideas and expertise of others, and the ability to view a problem from multiple perspectives, acting in the best interests of the organization as a whole.
- Strong training, influencing and persuasion skills for a variety of audiences (staff, vendors, and management)
- Critical thinking skills. Analytical skills. The ability to translate strategy into operational initiatives.
- Strong communication skills. The ability to understand, synthesize, interpret and convey, in a simplified manner, complex data and information to audiences with varying levels of expertise.

What You’ll Get
- The salary band for this position ranges from $100,000 to $140,000\. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
