JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Jr. Paid Media Specialist is responsible for helping drive revenue growth via paid media channels as well as optimizing campaigns. This candidate has a progressive understanding of the interrelationship between several digital channels (Google Ads, Programmatic, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok, etc.). In this role, you will think creatively, research, and develop innovative tactics to improve efficiencies and advance the program. You’ll manage several different tasks concurrently, which requires working closely with management, agency partners, and cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and align objectives. The Jr. Paid Media Specialist should have solid communication skills and hands-on tactical experience optimizing and managing campaigns. Data and analysis should come quickly. You must be dynamic with your strategies and willing to adapt to the ever-changing marketplace. The ability to implement the strategies discussed within your Paid Media Team. Last but certainly not least, you will need to have a hunger and drive to learn and be mentored. This individual will ultimately need to be passionate about online marketing, stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices, and stay up to date within the industry.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Possess deep knowledge of digital performance media channels (SEM, Social, Video \& Programmatic Display) platforms, tactics, and data strategy.
  • Manage daily operations of Paid Digital Advertising.
  • Create, launch, test, and manage paid media campaigns across various networks.
  • Drive campaign development, bid strategies, optimization, and channel management.
  • Research and identify new customer segments for targeted campaigns across multiple paid media channels.
  • Build customer audience lists.
  • Set up remarketing triggers aligning with UX, email, and other channels to retain and build the lifetime value of customers.
  • Own performance of paid media campaigns and reporting weekly
  • Ability to utilize data, customer insights, and analytics to make decisions, recommendations, and hypotheses about customer behaviors
  • Understand campaign automation connecting APIs and Scripts for smoother marketing approaches
  • Identify and analyze competitor techniques, as well as benchmark performance against competitors
  • Work with GA4, tracking/analytics setup, data analysis, Google Tag Manager, etc., to implement data push to various advertising platforms for tracking purposes
  • Work in a collaborative environment with other marketing media departments to ensure that goals and objectives are met

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven paid media advertising experience and success managing several channels.
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in paid media marketing
  • Experience with Google, Meta, and TikTok Ads
  • Experience managing a medium-sized brand
  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Understands campaign objectives/strategy and is able to present insight in reports to clients as well as field/anticipate questions.
