MAIN PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND OF THE POSITION
This role will report to the Vendor Management Lead and support strategic vendor and critical engagement in the following key areas:
- Key Performance
- Partnership and Supplier Management
- Contract Management
- Outsourcing Strategies
The vendor management team will be part of the operational excellence ecosystem so that there will be an overall end to end visibility to critical engagements. The team will be part of the COO (Chief Operating Office) professional family and will work with various stakeholders from the operation team primarily in the area of BPO (i.e. Business Process Outsourcing).
KEY SCOPE \& ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Continuously review engagements which are deemed business critical leveraging on the VRF (i.e. Vendor Risk Framework) and accreditation of strategic vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance meeting company's standard and requirements
- Coordinating with various business departments governance with standard vendor management approach
- Conduct executive meetings with strategic vendors within the supplier portfolio across the organization
- Perform annual outsourcing reports jointly with compliance, risk, procurement and various stakeholders to fulfill group and statutory requirements
- Support in the implementation of outsourcing strategies, including onboarding and offboarding strategies
- Track and manage SOWs (i.e. Scope of Works), TA (i.e. Transaction Agreement) and/or MSA (i.e. Master Service Agreement) to reduce expenses and improve spend visibility and adherence to internal policies for strategic vendors
KEY BUSINESS PARTNERS
- Internal Stakeholders: operational teams (directors and/or managerial level), project management, incident management, data analytics, information technology
- External: Strategic suppliers
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6 years of proven experience with vendor management, project management, risk management or procurement
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration in matrix organization with multiple workstreams and suppliers
- Aptitude in decision making and agile mindset
- University graduate in operations, project management or business administration preferred but not compulsory
- Excellent communication skills in both English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
- Good change management, communication and problem solving skills
- Result-oriented, detailed-mind, able to work in fast paced working environment and can work under pressure
