What You'll Be Doing

Head of Global Product \& strategic partnerships – Travel Industry

  • Responsible for the company’s development of worldwide strategy of land and sea components of holiday packages. Focus primarily on Europe, North/South America, Australasia and Sun destinations
  • Play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the organization’s travel portfolio and driving long-term growth.
  • Develop and manage high‑value strategic partnerships with key global suppliers, including hotels, cruise lines, car rentals, rail service, tourist boards, and destination management companies.
  • Requires strategic insight, strong negotiation, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
  • Expand revenue opportunities and enhance product offerings
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team responsible for managing key industry partnerships, negotiating marketing recoveries, and securing financial contributions that support promotional campaigns and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the company delivers a diverse, competitive, and innovative range of travel products that meet evolving customer expectations.
  • Oversee pricing strategy for packaged holidays to ensure market competitiveness, profitability, and differentiation, while negotiating value‑added components that enhance the customer offering.
  • Manage the creation, accuracy and optimization of digital brochure content, including securing partner funding to maximize exposure and support joint marketing objectives
  • Establish trust and strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

Strategic Leadership \& Vision

  • Lead the development of a global product strategy aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Drive innovation to ensure the company adapts to the rapidly evolving travel landscape.
  • Evaluate destinations and emerging markets to inform long‑term product planning and tourism development opportunities.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and empowerment to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible, in conjunction with Human Resources \& Administration department, for employees evaluation/development process, salary recommendations, staffing and employee relations activities

Product \& Market Strategy

  • Ensure the company maintains a competitive and compelling product portfolio within the marketplace.
  • Conduct destination and product research, market intelligence gathering, and competitor analysis to identify trends and inform decision‑making.
  • Identify opportunities for new or enhanced products and services based on customer needs and market shifts.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and protect organizational interests.
  • Ensure all product and partnership activities adhere to corporate policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage operational and strategic risks associated with product development and supplier relationships.
  • Communicate clear goals, expectations, and timelines to ensure departmental alignment and execution.
  • Support company growth initiatives through strategic planning and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.

What You Bring To The Team

Qualifications and skills required

  • University diploma, at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a senior position. Proven leadership experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing high‑value partnerships.
  • Travel is required to understand trends, secure newly developed product and to observe competitor activities
  • Exceptional relationship‑building abilities across diverse cultures and business environments.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under stress.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Possess a high energy level and charismatic, leadership presence
