AEO Specialist

When someone asks an AI assistant, “Can I qualify for a talent visa?” or “Should I have a lawyer review my severance agreement?”—we want our content and services to be part of the answer.

OpenVenture is hiring an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) Specialist for a venture making legal services more accessible through technology and experienced attorneys.

Our focus spans immigration, employment, business, and other areas of law. We’re looking for someone who has already driven measurable organic growth and is actively figuring out how discovery works across AI answers and traditional search.

What you’ll own

• Map questions to purchase intent.

Identify what people ask when researching a legal issue, comparing options, or deciding whether to hire an attorney.

• Build content that earns visibility.

Create useful answers, service pages, comparisons, FAQs, and original resources for discovery across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI experiences, and traditional search.

• Connect visibility to conversion.

Turn relevant visits into assessments, inquiries, consultations, and paying clients.

• Improve the website’s foundations.

Work with engineering on crawlability, page structure, internal linking, structured data, and clear information about our services and experts.

• Build credibility beyond our website.

Identify opportunities for expert contributions, relevant publications, partnerships, and third-party mentions.

• Run disciplined experiments.

Track a consistent set of questions, monitor citations and mentions, and test what changes results.

• Keep content accurate.

Work with attorneys to translate complex topics into clear, useful information.

Examples of topics you could own include talent visas, severance reviews, workplace disputes, business formation, founder agreements, and estate planning.

What we’re looking for

• A track record of growing qualified organic traffic and leads.
• Practical AEO experience, with examples of improved AI visibility, citations, or referral traffic.
• Strong writing, research, SEO, and analytical skills.
• Experience connecting content performance to business outcomes.
• The ability to execute independently and work directly with founders, attorneys, and engineers.

Experience in legal services, healthcare, finance, insurance, or another field where accuracy and trust matter is a plus.

How we’ll measure success

Relevant search and AI visibility, qualified inquiries, consultation bookings, paying clients, and acquisition efficiency. You should be comfortable explaining what the data can—and cannot—attribute to your work.
