Head of Demand Generation - US \| Remote
We are partnering with a growing, private equity-backed SaaS organisation operating at the intersection of eClinical technology, now seeking a Marketing Director to lead the next phase of demand generation-led commercial growth.
This is a true player-coach role. It requires someone who can design, build, and operationalise demand generation systems from scratch, then translate those into a clear, measurable, revenue-driven marketing engine across both B2B and B2C business lines.
The Opportunity
You will own the design and execution of a scalable demand generation function, with full responsibility for pipeline creation, marketing-sourced revenue, and the systems that sit underneath it.
While the business already has strong foundations, including an established customer base and market presence, the next phase is about structuring marketing into a predictable, data-led revenue engine. This means moving beyond campaigns into building the infrastructure that drives consistent, measurable demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end demand generation strategy across B2B eClinical SaaS and B2C patient recruitment
- Build and operationalise a scalable demand generation system (funnels, lifecycle, attribution, reporting, and optimisation loops)
- Design and execute full-funnel programs that consistently convert demand into qualified pipeline
- Drive marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue as core success metrics
- Lead multi-channel acquisition strategy including paid media, email, content, and digital performance marketing
- Build the underlying marketing operations stack (processes, data, automation, and reporting) to support scale
- Act as a player-coach: personally executing high-impact work while building capability and structure around you
- Partner closely with Sales and Product to align demand generation with conversion, retention, and expansion
- Use AI and automation to improve targeting, personalisation, efficiency, and campaign performance
- Oversee both enterprise demand generation and patient acquisition programmes
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10\+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS marketing with deep demand generation ownership
- Proven track record of building demand generation systems, not just running campaigns
- Strong understanding of pipeline mechanics, attribution, and revenue influence
- Experience operating across both strategic design and hands-on execution
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable marketing engines in high-growth or lean environments
- Highly analytical, with a strong focus on data, testing, and optimisation
- Comfortable operating without existing structure and building it from the ground up
- Exposure to AI-enabled marketing tools and modern growth stacks
