Job Description
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a catalyst for digital innovation, shaping and advancing ATS’s technology vision to drive transformation and growth. This role will steward enterprise-wide technology strategy, architecting and governing modern, secure, and scalable systems that enable agility and performance. As a strategic leader of the Information Systems function, the CIO accelerates the adoption of emerging technologies, delivers high-impact, cost-effective solutions, and ensures technology investments not only support today’s business priorities but also anticipate and power the organization’s future evolution.
Strategic Leadership
- Set and govern the enterprise technology strategy, directing systems development and digital initiatives that align with organizational priorities and drive innovation.
- Partner with executive leadership to define technology roadmaps, project scope, capacity, and risk, delivering data-driven analyses that guide investment decisions and optimize outcomes.
- Lead technology integration for acquisitions and continuously evaluate emerging trends, cybersecurity advancements, and best practices to keep the organization agile, secure, and competitive.
IT Operations Management
- Lead and optimize enterprise IT operations—including infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity—to deliver dependable, secure, and high-performing technology services.
- Align IT staffing, structure, investments, and operating decisions with long-term business strategy while continuously improving workflows, efficiency, and data utilization.
- Establish and enforce strong IT governance, policies, and security standards, partnering with senior leadership to advance enterprise goals through strategic technology guidance.
Financial and P\&L Management
- Own the IT operating budget and long-term technology financial strategy, driving disciplined budgeting, cost optimization, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Hold full P\&L accountability for the division, leveraging financial and operational metrics to identify risks, uncover efficiencies, and improve performance and return on technology investments.
Leadership \& Talent Development
- Build, attract, and retain high-performing IT talent by partnering with Talent Acquisition and HR to recruit, develop, and advance future-ready teams and leaders.
- Coach, mentor, and inspire leaders and teams to deliver exceptional results while fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven performance management, KPI tracking, and ongoing evaluation of training and development effectiveness.

Education \& Experience For Success
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with deep, comprehensive knowledge of modern information systems and technology.
- 10-15\+ years of progressive IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, systems development, and cybersecurity.
- Proven success leading complex, multi-entity and/or international IT environments, managing scale, integration, and operational diversity.
- Demonstrated ability to align technology strategy and roadmaps with business objectives, supporting both current operations and long-term growth.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing budgets and P\&L, analyzing data, and applying insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Proven ability of building, leading, and motivating high-performing teams while effectively managing vendors and cross-functional initiatives in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional communication and people skills with the ability to build trust, influence at all levels, and work effectively across diverse cultures.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise technologies, with the agility to quickly learn and adopt new applications, systems, and tools; willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation \& Benefits
- Compensation will be market-competitive and aligned with the scope and impact of the role. For candidates meeting the position qualifications, compensation details will be discussed openly during the screening process. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
