Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantitative Researcher/Research Scientist with strong statistical and quantitative research expertise to support device form factor research. This role focuses on making device design evaluation more objective and data-driven by applying statistical modeling to understand how design elements impact user comfort.

You will work with research and product teams to analyze user study data and develop statistical models that help predict and quantify device comfort, particularly for mobile and foldable devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply statistical and quantitative analysis to human factors and device comfort research.
• Build and validate statistical models such as linear regression and multivariate regression to analyze user comfort data.
• Conduct factor analysis and statistical learning techniques to understand relationships between device attributes and user ratings.
• Translate qualitative user feedback into objective, quantitative insights that inform hardware design decisions. Analyze data from user studies evaluating device size, thickness, weight, and other form factor attributes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX research, human factors, and hardware design teams.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong background in statistics, quantitative research, or statistical modeling.
• Experience applying statistical methods such as linear regression, multivariate regression, and factor analysis.
• Ability to analyze and interpret user study or experimental data.
• Experience working with research datasets and statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, MATLAB, or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
