Job Description

Ads Video Editor (Paid Social / UGC / Performance Ads) – Remote (LATAM)

30–40 hrs/week \| EST overlap required

Overview:

Our client, a fast-growing U.S.-based eCommerce brand in the productivity space, is looking for an

Ads Video Editor

to create high-performing short-form video ads for paid social.

This is a

performance-driven role

— you’ll turn raw footage, scripts, and briefs into ads that

grab attention, retain viewers, and drive conversions

.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit

short-form video ads (Meta, Instagram, TikTok)

  • Turn scripts \+ raw footage into

conversion-focused creatives

  • Create strong

hooks in the first 3 seconds

  • Optimize pacing, clarity, and retention
  • Add

captions, overlays, motion graphics, SFX

  • Create multiple

variations (hooks, angles, CTAs)

for testing

  • Revise creatives based on feedback
  • Organize assets and project files

Success in this role:

Consistently produce ads that capture attention, hold it, and drive measurable performance

Requirements:

  • Experience editing

paid social ads (Meta / TikTok / IG)

  • Experience with

UGC, product demos, testimonials, or direct response ads

  • Strong skills in

Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut

  • Ability to follow

scripts and creative briefs

  • Understanding of

basic ad metrics (CTR, retention, CPA)

  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Good English communication

  • Takes ownership of results, not just delivery

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in

DTC / eCommerce brands

  • Ability to improve scripts or suggest creative angles
  • Familiarity with

Frame.io, Canva, Photoshop
