Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the execution of the Ginsey Supply Chain, from launch to inventory receipt as well as the overall support to meet customer, inventory and internal strategic goals.
This will include, but is not limited to supplier readiness, procurement execution and tactical cost negotiations, product timeline management, inventory planning, demand planning oversight, and import logistics coordination activities to support Ginsey’s operational and financial objectives. This role ensures materials and finished goods are procured cost-effectively, inventory levels are appropriately balanced, and supply chain activities are executed in compliance with any applicable requirements.
The Supply Chain Manager supports and informs demand planning and forecasting activities, provides supply-side insights and constraints, and partners cross-functionally to maintain continuity of supply, control costs, and support business needs across operations. This role acts as a primary operational and analytical partner to the VP of Supply Chain \& Strategic Global Sourcing, supporting day-to-day decision-making, execution, and cross-functional alignment.
This role owns end-to-end supply chain execution from product launch through inventory availability and lifecycle management. The Supply Chain Manager leads planning, procurement execution, inventory control, and logistics coordination, while managing the Demand Planning function.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Planning \& Alignment
- Translate sales forecasts and business plans into actionable supply plans, supporting leadership decision-making around service, cost, and inventory trade-offs.
- Guide and influence demand planning and forecasting activities by providing supply-side insights, constraints, and recommendations in partnership with Sales, Product Development, and Finance.
- Identify supply risks, imbalances, or constraints and recommend corrective actions to maintain continuity of supply.
- Directly manage the Demand Planning function, with the Demand Planner accountable for forecast development, accuracy, and related planning forums and reporting.
Sourcing \& Procurement
- Support cost control and reduction initiatives through procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and spend analysis.
- Manage day-to-day operational interactions with approved domestic suppliers and support evaluation of alternative components or supply options as needed.
- Work with Integrative Marketing, Operations \& Sales teams to manage product changes to ensure timing goals are met while minimizing obsolete inventory and customer expectations.
Inventory Planning \& Control
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate balance between product availability, working capital, and risk.
- Analyze inventory trends to prevent excess, obsolescence, or stockouts and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner cross-functionally to align inventory targets with demand expectations and operational requirements.
Logistics, Customs, \& Trade Compliance
- Partner with logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal teams to support compliant and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Ensure accurate import/export documentation, tariff classification, and customs compliance in accordance with CBP, CTPAT, and related requirements.
- Support duty drawback processes, freight RFQs, and ongoing freight cost management initiatives.
- Maintain working knowledge of global trade regulations, tariffs, and logistics practices impacting sourcing and landed cost.
- Manage the annual import freight RFQ process and recommend action plan based on cost, corporate budget goals as well as current global trade constraints.
Cost \& Financial Support
- Analyze supply chain costs including purchase price variances, freight expenses, and inventory carrying costs.
- Collaborate with Finance to align sourcing and procurement decisions with budgets, forecasts, and margin objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to reduce total landed cost while maintaining service levels and compliance.
- Assist VP of Supply Chain \& Strategic Global Sourcing with Landed Cost Estimates for Imported and Domestic products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key supply chain partner to Product Development, Creative, Operations, Customer Operations, Sales, and Finance to support supply readiness and execution.
- Support new product development by ensuring supplier readiness, material availability, and aligned lead times.
- Communicate supply status, risks, cost impacts, and mitigation plans clearly and proactively.
- Lead and coordinate supply chain execution resources as the organization scales, including direct reports and dotted-line functional partners, to ensure efficient purchasing, data accuracy, and logistics coordination.
Systems \& Process Management
- Maintain accurate and timely data within ERP/DRP systems to support procurement, planning, and reporting.
- Identify process gaps or inefficiencies within sourcing, procurement, inventory planning, and logistics coordination.
- Support documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with IT on BI reporting or proposes systems improvements.
- Ensure ERP system parameters and data related to products, supplier costs, supplier data, deliverable dates, and planning execution are maintained, updated when necessary and accurate.

Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or related field required.
- 5\+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, or sourcing.
- APICS/CPIM certification a plus.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, procurement, and inventory management principles.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with supplier performance tracking, cost analysis, and logistics coordination preferred.

- Provide clear visibility into supply risks, cost impacts, and mitigation actions to leadership.
- Establish and maintain an effective supply chain operating model that supports current business needs and scales efficiently as volume, complexity, or organizational requirements evolve.
- Mentor direct reports by aligning development goals to strategic goals and next level competencies.
