CARPENTER / FIELD LEAD – RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

Luxury Builders Group LLC is a growing Florida General Contractor specializing in high-quality residential construction, remodeling, renovations, and construction management throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida.

We are looking for a

skilled Carpenter / Field Lead

to join our team.

This is more than a traditional carpenter position. We are looking for someone who takes

pride in their work, pays attention to details, understands what a well-run jobsite looks like, and takes ownership when something needs to get done.

The right person will begin as a hands-on Carpenter / Field Lead and have the opportunity to grow into a

Field Supervisor and eventually Superintendent

as their abilities and leadership are demonstrated.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Carpentry \& Construction

• Perform high-quality finish and general carpentry
• Framing and drywall repairs
• Doors, trim, baseboards, and finish work
• Flooring installation and repairs
• Painting and touch-ups
• Punch-list work and general residential repairs
• Assist with demolition and remodeling activities
• Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Perform miscellaneous construction tasks as needed

Jobsite Leadership

• Help maintain LBG's standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
• Open and close jobsites as required
• Receive and organize materials and deliveries
• Coordinate access for subcontractors and vendors
• Confirm scheduled trades arrive and have what they need to perform their work
• Monitor progress and communicate delays, deficiencies, or conflicts
• Help prepare jobsites for inspections
• Meet inspectors when required and document inspection results
• Maintain daily jobsite updates, photos, and progress information
• Identify problems before they become larger problems
• Review plans and drawings applicable to the work being performed and bring discrepancies or questions to management before proceeding
• Assist with maintaining punch lists and ensuring deficiencies are corrected

Project Support

• Pick up materials, tools, and supplies when necessary
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
• Assist with deliveries and material handling
• Help keep projects moving according to schedule
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and the LBG team

• Has solid residential construction and carpentry experience

• Can read and understand construction plans and drawings
• Has good communication skills
• Can recognize problems and bring solutions—not just problems
• Is organized and takes ownership of the jobsite
• Can work professionally around homeowners and clients
• Is comfortable coordinating with subcontractors and other trades
• Wants to grow into a leadership role
• Has a strong work ethic and takes personal responsibility for the quality of their work

Leadership experience is a plus, but it is not required.

We are willing to develop the right person who has the attitude, skill, and drive to take on greater responsibility.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The long-term goal is to develop the right individual into someone who can independently take ownership of LBG jobsites.

The progression can look like:

Carpenter / Field Lead → Field Supervisor → Superintendent

Advancement is based on

demonstrated ability, leadership, reliability, workmanship, communication, and the ability to successfully manage increasing responsibility.

This is not a position where we expect someone to simply wait for instructions. We want someone who sees what needs to be done and takes ownership of getting it done correctly.

COMPENSATION

Based on experience and demonstrated ability.

Full-time position.

Overtime as applicable.

Mileage reimbursement for qualifying business travel in accordance with company policy.

Company-provided technology/tools necessary for the position.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant residential construction/carpentry experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel between jobsites throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding areas
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle construction materials and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional appearance and communication
• Must be able to pass standard employment/background requirements
• Must provide required employment and insurance documentation
